Here are the 23 executive actions Obama plans to take on guns. →
Funny: In all of these, I don’t see a single one that says, “WE’RE GONNA TAKE AWAY YOUR GUNS, YOU FUCKIN’ NERDS” — oh wait! That was never going to happen in the first place.
Everyone relax. Things are going to be fine.
For now.
For like, five seconds. Four seconds. Three, two, one—

I know that I’m about to sound like your Dad.
Please drive carefully, always. Even if the roads are spick and span and the sun is out and there are no other drivers within a hundred miles, do it. Don’t text. Stay alert. If you feel like you can’t focus, pull over. Please.
Not only do you…
Spock= Santa?!?!?
I had a very odd dream that Spock ended up being Santa. When a stupid show was cancelled, he started to be attacked. I was a friend of his, so I started attacking them right back all up until this little kid was like: “hi Santa!” And then DRAGON PUNCH to the little kid. I woke up feeling like a terrible human being. I’m reading wayyyy too much Star Trek fan fiction.
So I’m here in Syracuse with mr. William (socratescloset.tumblr.com) and I’m having a lovely time!
Change (and storms) are scary
It’s so strange to see and hear how the town you grew up in is now a mess. Most of Long Island has no power. Homes destroyed, trees downed, gas is hard to get, and I’m here nearly 500 miles away. Close enough to still be in New York, but far away enough to be able to do nothing.
What is surreal is seeing my old high school with its’ roof torn off, and the roof tarp hanging off of the building, and pieces of the roof on the field behind the school. I made a joke about it so I wouldn’t be so upset.
My family is safe, my dad got power back Wednesday, my mom doesn’t have it back yet, but is ok. I’m thankful for that, and I’m hoping everything will be fixed soon.
What prompted this was that I was finally able to talk on the phone with my mom for long enough to learn what happened in my neighborhood. Trees fell and broke fences, tore the screen on the door, but thankfully the glass wasn’t broken.
I want to go home and be with everyone and help them with re-building, but I need to stay here until Thanksgiving comes around. I guess I have many things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. My family and friends are safe. And that’s all that matters right now.
